In Home Newborn Photo Sessions
Your sweet new baby has arrived, and you cannot stop taking pictures of them. Those phone photos can be sweet and amazing, but allow me to pose your baby for a professional photo shoot, and you'll be amazed at what I can do. I am NOT self-taught, I am trained by some of the leading newborn photographers in the United States, and am also trained in newborn safety.
The beautiful part about my newborn shoots is that I do them in the comfort of your own home! I set up a small space in your home with my studio equipment and do everything there that could be done in a studio.
I bring a 5x7 floor mat, professional studio lighting, and all the props, outfits, wraps, backdrops for your photo shoot. If you'd like to do lifestyle photos, that is possible too!
Anywhere from 10 days old and on. However, please keep in mind the younger the better and I only book 3-4 babies per month. If your baby comes early or late, totally fine - we will work around it and get you in as soon as possible.

Q: When should I schedule my newborn session?
It is best to schedule your newborn session in your second or third trimester. It's very hard to accommodate last minute requests. I only take 4 newborns per month, and after that I unfortunately have to say no.
Q: How should I prepare my baby for the shoot?
I will send you a questionnaire to find out details of:
- who will be present at the shoot
- your priorities of who you want photographed and what is most important
- color schemes you prefer
- poses you prefer, etc!
Basically, I will find out exactly what you're looking for and your photo shoot will be tailored to you. A fully customizable experience.
Q: What do I need to have on hand?
- Feeding supplies
- Diapering supplies
- Any special mementos or family heirlooms (make sure this is communicated to me early)
- A pacifier (sometimes they are needed for me to be able to calm your sweet baby!
Q: How long is a newborn photo shoot?
1.5-2 hours for the photo shoot itself. I will plan to arrive 20-30 minutes before the start to unload and set up.
Q: Where will the session take place?
In the comfort of your own home. There is a travel fee depending on where you're located.
This is customizable to every family (depending on if you want it family focused or baby focused). However, in general newborn sessions include 4 "setups". Sessions only last 2 hours at the most, as babies often get irritable when the session lasts any longer.
